About fifteen years ago, Pleasant Hill started a riding school for aspiring equestrians of all ages and levels. Our instructors teach the classic hunt-seat position. The instructors themselves are experienced equestrians whose love of the horse and enthusiasm for the sport brings added dimension to their teaching. Our carefully selected school horses are safe, well-schooled individuals who make instruction both fun and challenging. Whether participating in one of our private or semi-private lessons you can be assured that you or your child will receive quality individual instruction. We also offer leases on our school and show horses and ponies for our riding school students.

Our riding school is pleased to offer very reasonable leases of our horses and ponies, which includes lessons.  Additionally Pleasant Hill attends local horse shows for our riding school riders.  Riders are not required to show but our program points to way to showing -locally or nationally.  We teach the proven American hunter/jumper system, emphasize safety, and correct fundamentals.  This allows our riders to build their confidence and ability to be successful at whatever level they choose to ride.

For our students learning horsemanship skills and putting importance on the well-being of the horse is essential to us.
