Karen is instructor, trainer, and owner of Pleasant Hill. Her career has been highlighted by numerous successes in both the hunter and jumper rings for she and her students, several of whom she has guided to indoors and Young Riders. Karen has competed in some of the most challenging Grand Prix in the country and most recently piloted Rufus ASK to his Grand Prix debut at the 2008 Atlanta Spring Challenge.
Cathy Whiteside
Cathy's strong equitation background and no-nonsense approach to coaching and training has allowed her to produce many talented and successful junior and adult riders, taking many to indoors along the way. Her methodical technique and traditional foundation have brought her a loyal following of riders in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings.
Karen McGoldrick, owner and operator of neighboring Prospect Hill Farm is an integral part of our training program at Pleasant Hill. Karen offers our horses and riders opportunities to broaden their horizons and enhance their performance in equitation and jumper competitions through the integration of dressage principles into the hunt-seat methodology. Wendy Vannerson
Wendy Vannerson, Riding School Director and Show Barn Manager, has a solid background in both hunt-seat and three-day eventing. Wendy came to Pleasant Hill with several years instruction experience and possesses a vibrant and confident teaching style that both children and adults easily connect with.
